A Viennese Brunch

Viennese Brunch 1

Greetings from Europe! If you read my previous post you know that I surprised everyone with a trip to Europe. I landed in Vienna, Austria a couple days ago and spent two days there to catch up with friends. Oh how I missed this beautiful city! It seems as though spring has arrived early this year, and my winter coat was waaay to warm. As soon as I landed and was picked up by my friend Marta, it felt as if I had never left. Weird, knowing that I have been gone for 10 months. It just all came back to me, and it felt as if my new life in the US is all but a dream. On the other hand, everything has changed! It is baby boom time in Vienna and all my friends are starting a family. So many new lovely little beings to meet, hold and kiss. What goodness!

To make things easy, I invited everyone to come join me for a brunch at Hotel Daniels Bakery. My favorite breakfast spot in Vienna. Everything is freshly made, including the bread, jams and made to serve omelets! The clean quirky space is both creative and cozy – just what I love! If you ever decide to travel to Vienna, the Hotel Daniel is definitely a great place to stay!

It was amazing to see all the girls and all be in one spot! Great food, lovely people, warm hearts, laughs, good conversation – thankful!

Isn’t she the most beautiful fresh mother ever? I was lucky to meet Marie and Toms little treasure Anna.

Laura put me up for the night and it was surreal to finally meet her gorgeous little girl, whom I only knew through sent videos, photos and skype calls!
